Cartier Resources Extends High-Grade Gold Zone at East Cadillac to 10 Kilometers

Summary

Cartier Resources (TSX-V: ECR) has released impressive new drilling results from its East Cadillac project, expanding the high-grade gold footprint across a 10-kilometer stretch of the Larder Lake–Cadillac Fault Zone. In the latest announcement, President and CEO Philippe Cloutier outlines how the company continues to build on a string of successful discoveries, setting the stage for a major 2025 exploration campaign.

High-Grade Results from Multiple Zones

On December 17, Cartier reported multiple high-grade intercepts that underscore the project’s scale and potential. These include:

  • 44.7 g/t gold over 0.5 meters
  • 7.9 g/t gold over 1.0 meter
  • 17.0 g/t gold over 0.5 meters
  • 18.0 g/t gold over 1.7 meters (within a broader interval of 7.5 g/t over 4.6 meters)

These new results come from both the Bloom Lake sector and the West Simon–Portal area, with mineralization now confirmed over a full 10-kilometer strike length. Particularly notable is the continuity of high-grade gold between previously reported intercepts, including the standout 35.3 g/t over 4.4 meters drilled earlier in the year.

A Year of Aggressive Drilling

According to Cloutier, 2024 was a milestone year for Cartier’s East Cadillac program. The company completed 162 drill holes totaling 28,000 meters, with assays still pending for a number of holes.

“To date, we’ve identified 10 distinct high-grade gold zones along the Larder Lake–Cadillac Fault,” said Cloutier. “This is a major structural corridor that’s historically prolific, and we’re now demonstrating that its potential continues at depth and along strike.”

The results suggest that the gold-bearing structures extend well beyond previous boundaries and are open both to the east and west. “We’re now planning over 100,000 meters of additional drilling to test these extensions and identify new discoveries along this 20-kilometer corridor,” Cloutier added.

Strategic Growth in 2025

Looking ahead, Cartier is focused on maintaining exploration momentum and expanding investor awareness. The company plans to kick off 2025 with the release of more assay results and an intensified drilling campaign. “We’re wrapping up this phase of drilling, but we’re already preparing for what’s next,” said Cloutier. “With this much gold mineralization showing up over such a long strike, it’s clear we’re just scratching the surface.”

He also announced a new investor outreach initiative for 2025. Joining Cloutier and the OIC team will be Cristelle, a new spokesperson who will connect directly with French-speaking investors as Cartier’s story continues to unfold.

A Strong Finish, A Promising Start

In closing, Cloutier emphasized three key takeaways:

  1. High-grade mineralization now confirmed across 10 kilometers of strike length.
  2. Expansion of key gold zones in both the Bloom Lake and West Simon–Portal sectors.
  3. 2025 to feature over 100,000 meters of follow-up drilling, with the goal of expanding and linking existing discoveries.

“We now have ten high-grade zones across ten kilometers—and we’re only getting started,” said Cloutier.

As Cartier wraps up a productive year and heads into 2025, shareholders can expect a steady flow of results and updates. For more information, investors are encouraged to contact Philippe Cloutier directly—he always returns his calls and emails.
